The page is green. The meeting ends early. In All Green Up Here, a middle manager left a truthful red rewrite unsent. The executive still has the earlier clean summary on his screen, and nothing on it asks him to decide.
CLEAR FROM HERE completes the office trilogy from its highest floor. OWNER: TBD followed work without a clear owner; All Green Up Here followed the manager who made its warnings easier to receive. This final EP follows a fictional composite executive whose requests shape what can reach him.
He asks for one page because six decisions need his attention. He asks for the high-level view because he wants the teams to own the details. He floats an option and hears a confident promise. He keeps his door open because he wants risks brought to him early. His position changes the cost of answering each request.
Across four songs, a summary loses its warning, a strategic view loses the choice only he can make, and a question becomes somebody else’s recorded commitment. The executive trusts the information he receives. He also sets the conditions that make it arrive brief, confident, and free of surprises.
When the facts finally reach his chair as consequences, he asks why nobody spoke. The room goes quiet again. He begins to recognise the silence he once called agreement, and the distance an open door has left intact. The meeting ends. The door stays open. The corridor stays empty.
報告はグリーン。会議は予定より早く終わる。All Green Up Hereで、中間管理職が真実を残して書き直した赤い報告は、送信されないままだった。経営幹部の画面にあるのは、以前の整った報告。そのどこにも、判断を求める言葉はない。
CLEAR FROM HEREは、職場を描く三部作を最上階から締めくくる。OWNER: TBDが追ったのは、引き受ける責任者の見つからない仕事。All Green Up Hereが追ったのは、その警告を上に受け入れられやすい言葉へ変える管理職。最後のEPは、さまざまな経営幹部の姿を重ねた架空の人物を追う。彼の依頼が、彼のもとへ届く情報の形を決めている。
六つの判断が待っているから、一枚にまとめてほしい。細部はチームに任せたいから、全体像を示してほしい。選択肢をひとつ挙げると、自信に満ちた約束が返ってくる。リスクは早く知らせてほしいから、扉を開けておく。そのひとつひとつに答える重さは、彼の立場によって変わる。
四つの曲を通して、要約から警告が消え、全体像から彼にしか下せない判断が消え、問いかけが誰かの約束として記録される。幹部は、届いた情報を信頼している。その情報が短く、確信に満ち、想定外を含まない形で届く条件も、彼自身が作っている。
事実がようやく結果となって目の前に現れたとき、彼はなぜ誰も話さなかったのかと尋ねる。部屋はまた静まる。かつて合意と呼んだ沈黙と、扉を開けても縮まらなかった距離に、彼は気づき始める。会議は終わる。扉は開いたまま。廊下には誰もいない。
