Here We Go Again

It started when I spent seven laps circling a mall parking lot.

That small frustration had the same recurring shape as larger ones: fuel costs arriving as business overhead, distant decisions reaching ordinary people, and tomorrow asking us to repeat the whole routine. The stakes are not equal. What connects them is the small chair — the feeling that somebody else arranged the table and left you to carry the cost.

Here We Go Again follows that loop through four bilingual tracks: the parking search, the diesel bill, a general satire about unequal diplomacy, and one day that brings every complaint back around. Different genre collisions give each chapter its own motion, while English and Mandarin carry the internal monologue between exhaustion and dark laughter.

The closer was inspired by Sisyphus: seeing the same rock waiting and pushing again, not because tomorrow will be different, but because staying down is not the answer.

Four complaints. Four collisions. One small chair. Here we go again.

すべては、昼時のモールの駐車場を7周したことから始まった。

それは小さな苛立ちだった。けれど同じ形が、もっと大きな問題にも繰り返されていることに気づいた。燃料価格の上昇は事業経費としてのしかかり、遠くで決められたことの負担は、その決定に加われなかった普通の人へ回ってくる。そして明日になれば、同じ仕組みの中をもう一度進まなければならない。

もちろん、その重さは同じではない。昼食の失敗と、戦争や外交で弱い立場の国が脇へ追いやられることを同列にはできない。それでも、どの場面にも「小さな椅子」がある。誰かが用意したテーブルに座らされ、その代償だけを引き受けるような感覚だ。

Here We Go Againは、その反復を4曲でたどる。駐車場を回り続ける昼休み、軽油代として届く圧力、不平等な外交を描く架空の外交劇を通した政治風刺、そして、それまでの不満が一日の中でもう一度めぐってくる最終曲。異なるジャンルの衝突がそれぞれの場面に動きを与え、英語と中国語（普通話）が、疲労と苦笑の間を行き来する僕の内なる声になる。

最終曲の着想にあったのは、シーシュポスだった。同じ岩がまた待っていることを知りながら、それでも押し始める姿。明日が変わると信じたからではない。倒れたままでいることを、答えにしたくなかったからだ。

四つの不満。四つの衝突。ひとつの小さな椅子。
