Access will arrive after testing should begin. A dependency has slipped. Seven new screens have entered the scope while the date stays fixed. The team names the choices: reduce the work, move the date, or get a decision from upstairs.
The manager hears every request, then changes red to amber and amber to green. They call it protection: less scrutiny, fewer interruptions, more time to recover. The call ends early. No extra time or decision comes back.
In the team chat, the manager types, “Are we still on track?” Three dots appear and vanish. The work has kept its problems, and the dashboard has kept its colour.
アクセス権が届くのは、テストの開始予定より後になる。前提となる作業も遅れている。対象には新たに7画面が加わったのに、期日は動かない。チームは選択肢を示す。作業を減らすか、期日を変えるか、上の判断を仰ぐか。
管理職はすべての依頼を聞いてから、赤を黄に、黄をグリーンに変える。これはチームを守るためだと考える。追及も割り込みも減れば、立て直す時間が増える。会議は早く終わる。追加の時間も、必要な判断も返ってこない。
チームのチャットに、管理職は「まだ予定どおり進んでいる？」と打ち込む。入力中を示す3つの点が現れ、消える。仕事には問題が残り、ダッシュボードには同じ色が残る。
