Garage in the Golden City
黄金の街のガレージ
Pulled away from Tokyo, the traveler enters a fictional garage in golden-era Phnom Penh and learns that grief for one place does not prevent connection with the next.東京から引き離された旅人が、黄金時代のプノンペンを舞台にした架空のガレージで、別れの痛みが次のつながりを拒む理由にはならないと知る。

Behind the Track楽曲の背景
The Tokyo glow disappears, leaving the traveler inside a hot, crowded garage in golden-era Phnom Penh. They are still grieving the place they wanted to keep, and this raw new room initially feels like another unwanted interruption.
Then the people inside laugh, make space, and pull the stranger with no name into music that was already alive before they arrived. The traveler does not understand every word, but they recognize the invitation.
Tokyo taught them what it feels like to lose a place. Phnom Penh teaches them that loving what came before does not require refusing whatever comes next.
Lyrics歌詞
The neon's gone, the bass line's gone, the glow is far away Ripped from paradise and thrown into a — what is this place? Concrete walls and tangled wires, amps that hum and shake Someone handed me a guitar — okay, for Tokyo's sake What year is this? The singer's wailing something wild, I don't know the words But the melody goes sideways in a way I've never heard The organ's screaming, drums are pounding, sweat is on the floor This isn't what I wanted but my hands are begging more Still thinking 'bout the neon lights I left behind But this fuzz guitar is rewriting my mind Plug me in, turn it up, let the feedback sing I came here by mistake but now I'm feeling everything Don't know the language, don't know the song But the amp's still buzzing and I'm playing along Wrong place, wrong time — I'M FINE The band just laughed and pulled me in — the stranger with no name They don't care where I'm from, the music sounds the same Phnom Penh is golden, the radio's on American signals mixing with a Khmer rock song This city's ALIVE Plug me in, turn it up, let the feedback sing I came here by mistake but now I'm feeling everything Don't know the language, don't know the song But the amp's still buzzing and I'm playing along Wrong place, wrong time — I'M FINE I keep chasing centuries I didn't choose Tokyo taught me what it feels like to lose But this garage — with the wires and the heat Taught me sometimes wrong is where the rhythm meets your feet Eh... close enough to rock PLUG ME IN, TURN IT UP, let the feedback SING I came here by mistake but now I'm feeling EVERYTHING Don't know the language, don't know the song But the amp's still buzzing and I'm playing along Lost again — might as well PLAY The amp hums out... the golden city sleeps But somewhere in my pocket, the machine still beeps
