At the checkout, one small phrase handles two different questions. カードで大丈夫です accepts card payment. 袋は大丈夫です politely declines a bag. The payment goes through, the bag stays flat, and the shopper leaves with everything apparently settled.

The groceries multiply; the available hands remain exactly two. A one-trip plan becomes an exercise in balance, briefly relocates to the floor, and returns as a confident declaration that everything is under control. The eggs are whole. The milk is sealed. The bread has had to adapt.

Across four tracks, the same calm answer moves from practical reassurance to increasingly ambitious self-assurance. When an offer of help returns, the clearest response is finally はい、お願いします. Accepting a hand becomes the last useful adjustment to the plan.

レジで、短いひと言が二つの質問に答える。「カードで大丈夫です」は、カード払いでよいという返事。「袋は大丈夫です」は、袋を丁寧に断る返事。支払いは済み、袋はそのまま。買い物客は、すべて片づいたつもりで歩き出す。

食料品は増えても、使える手は二本のまま。一度に全部運ぶ計画はバランスの問題になり、いったん床に場所を移したあと、「ちゃんとコントロールできている」という宣言に戻ってくる。卵は無事。牛乳も漏れていない。パンには少し形を変えてもらった。
