Café Perigoso opens with perfect hospitality: come in, sit down, the coffee is good. Then one small repetition changes the room. “Nobody leaves unhappy” becomes “Nobody leaves.”
Inside this dangerous café, afternoon slips into night, three hours feel like twenty minutes, and the exit sign has gone dark without anyone noticing. A welcoming presence says Tudo bem — everything is fine — while another quietly points out the dead phone, the distant door, and the rhythm that now feels like a heartbeat.
The experiment eventually admits what it is: two things that were never supposed to meet. But the listener did not arrive for a correct formula. They heard the guitar, felt the bass, and found somewhere they wanted to stay. By the final chorus, comfort and danger have become inseparable — the quietest failure on the release, and perhaps the hardest one to escape.
最後の実験『危険なカフェ』は、完璧なもてなしから始まる。どうぞ座って。コーヒーはおいしいですよ。けれど次のひと言で、部屋の意味が変わる。『誰も不幸なまま帰らない』が、『誰も帰らない』へ変わる。
カフェの中では、午後が夜へ滑り込み、3時間が20分に感じられ、誰も気づかないうちに出口のサインが暗くなる。もてなす声はTudo bem——大丈夫、と繰り返す。もう一つの声は、切れたスマホ、遠く感じる扉、そして自分の鼓動のようになったリズムを静かに指摘する。
やがて実験は、自分の正体を明かす。本来なら出会うはずのなかった二つのもの。けれど客は、正しい調合式を確かめるために来たのではない。音を聞き、リズムを感じ、ここなら留まってもいいと思った。最後には、安らぎと危うさが切り離せなくなる。これはEPで最も静かな失敗作であり、おそらく最も逃れにくい実験だ。
