BOOT.exe is the loading screen: sunrise, blinking eyes, and childhood rendered as a game tutorial.
The controls are never entirely clear. The player falls through the map, gets back up, and keeps learning beside someone whose hand prevents them from lagging away. English and Japanese carry the playful uncertainty—はじめよう, let's begin; いっしょに, together—while every retry becomes part of growing up.
Then the song reaches its simplest truth: Ini rumah kita / Tempat kita mula—this is our home, the place where we began.
The first level does not ask whether the player is ready. It simply offers the button again: press start.
『BOOT.exe』はロード画面だ。朝日とともに目が開き、子供時代がゲームのチュートリアルとして映し出される。
操作方法は、なかなか全部は分からない。プレイヤーはマップを突き抜けて落ち、それでも立ち上がり、ラグではぐれないように手を握ってくれる誰かのそばで学び続ける。英語と日本語が、はじめよう、いっしょにと遊び心のある戸惑いを運ぶ。リトライするたびに、それもまた成長の一部になる。
そして曲は、もっとも素朴な真実へたどり着く。Ini rumah kita / Tempat kita mula――ここは私たちの家。ここから、私たちは始まった。
最初のレベルは、準備ができたかどうかを尋ねない。ただ、もう一度ボタンを差し出す。スタートを押そう。
